CMP's community model of philanthropy continues to support new film projects and emerging filmmakers, and we are proud to announce CMP has come on board as an Executive Producer for a new documentary in production, DROP AND GIVE ME TWENTY. The film follows women from around the country in their quest to take the crown in the 2015 Ms. Veteran America competition, an event conceived to bring awareness to the homelessness among female veterans. The director, Lysa Heslov, is an up-and-coming documentary director with great production backing and a passionate connection to her subjects and the issue.
We are excited to have Lysa with us in Chicago for an exclusive screening of some rough-cut scenes, a discussion about her filmmaking process so far, and a look the future of the film. In the cozy screening room of Soho House Chicago, our members will have an intimate conversation with an emerging talent and the chance to offer feedback in the early stages of what is sure to be an important new film.
With only 30 seats available, CMP members have priority access to this event. We will hold a waitlist for a few additional invited guests.
