CMP High School Initiative Kick-Off

  • Chicago History Museum 1601 North Clark Street Chicago, IL, 60614 United States (map)

CMP is excited to welcome back GPC15 film ROMEO IS BLEEDING for the kick-off of our new High School Initiative, a program inspired by the spirit of Good Pitch that aims to bring impact media to youth all around Chicago. This pilot program connects young people to the doc films that speak to them, and empowers them to create media of their own that responds to and engages with these powerful films. Students from around the city will have the opportunity to watch ROMEO IS BLEEDING on the big screen, followed by a performance from the film's star, Donte Clark, a response piece by student filmmakers at Free Spirit Media, and a discussion moderated by selected young leaders. We're so excited to welcome this beautiful film back to Chicago and to launch this initiative with our partners!
