CMP is delighted to offer our members access to one of the hottest tickets at CIFF: Laurie Anderson's HEART OF A DOG. A moving and lyrical film that defies categorization, Anderson's first film in nearly thirty years touches on death, memory, surveillance, Buddhist teachings, and, of course, her beloved dog Lolabelle. CMP is excited to incorporate this important new work into our ongoing conversations this fall about art, empathy, and the changing boundaries of the documentary form.
Laurie Anderson herself will be in attendance for a special Q&A presentation following the film screening, and members are then invited to join an exclusive after-party co-presented by CMP and Elston Films, hosted by Billy Dec at Rockit Bar & Grill. It will be a great night to experience CIFF the CMP way!
Seating is EXTREMELY limited for this unique event. As usual, CMP members receive priority access at no charge; additional tickets will be made available to specially invited guests for a small donation.
